Geneva Watch Auctions November 2026: Lots, Dates and Estimates
Geneva Watch Auctions November 2026: Upcoming Lots, Dates and Estimates
The upcoming Geneva watch auctions November 2026 calendar runs from November 7 to 10, when Phillips, Antiquorum, Sotheby's and Christie's all hold sales in the city. The headline estimates are a 1945 steel Patek Philippe ref. 1436 split-seconds chronograph at CHF 2-4 million (Phillips), a platinum 2002 F.P. Journe Chronomètre à Résonance at CHF 1-2 million (Phillips), five F.P. Journe Ruthenium watches formerly owned by Michael Schumacher (Christie's) and a Patek Nautilus ref. 3700/1 reportedly made for Sultan Qaboos at CHF 500,000-1 million (Christie's). This preview compiles dates, venues and lots from the houses' own pages where we could read them, and from trade reports otherwise, as of November 3, 2026. The sales have not taken place: every figure below is a pre-sale estimate, not a result, and we do not forecast hammer prices. This page will be updated after the sales close.

Phillips: Patek 1436, two Daytonas and a Journe Resonance
Phillips holds The Geneva Watch Auction: XXIV on November 7 and 8 at the Hotel President, in association with Bacs & Russo. Its release (CONFIRMED on Phillips' own page) says the sale brings together no fewer than 220 timepieces, and viewing runs November 4 to 7 at the same hotel after a world tour that ran from Dubai in October through New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Riyadh and London.
The top estimate is lot 95, a 1945 stainless steel Patek Philippe ref. 1436 split-seconds chronograph, at CHF 2-4 million. Two Rolex Daytonas follow: lot 20, a c.1969 ref. 6241 "John Player Special" in 14k yellow gold with a black "Paul Newman" dial at CHF 800,000-1.6 million (Phillips says it was last seen at auction in 2018), and lot 129, a c.1952 ref. 6062 "Stelline" in 18k yellow gold at CHF 600,000-1.2 million, which Phillips says was newly discovered in Japan and acquired from its original owner. Lot 7 is a 2002 platinum F.P. Journe Chronomètre à Résonance "Régence" made for Les Ambassadeurs, at CHF 1-2 million; lot 161, a 2007 titanium Tokyo Boutique Resonance (No. 2 of 12), is CHF 400,000-800,000. Our Rolex Daytona history covers the family.
Other estimates in the release include a Patek ref. 2497 retailed by Gumbiner, the only known example with that signature, at CHF 250,000-500,000, a Patek ref. 605HU "North America" World Time pocket watch at CHF 300,000-600,000, a probably unique Richard Miklosch flying tourbillon pocket watch at CHF 300,000-600,000, a unique Roger Smith Series 1 at CHF 300,000-600,000, a unique tantalum Voutilainen Vingt-8 Inverse at CHF 200,000-400,000 and a 1790 Ferdinand Berthoud marine chronometer at CHF 100,000-200,000. Phillips' release does not mention the Lemon lot below. The Hour Markers also lists lot 131, a ref. 6264 "Paul Newman Lemon" Daytona, and lot 208, a Patek ref. 3830 "Verga", each "in excess of CHF 1 million". Those two lots are not in Phillips' release, and we found no exact range (REPORTED, one outlet). JCK reported on September 30 that the sale is headlined by 16 watches from a collector named Pucci Papaleo; Phillips' release does not mention this, so treat it as UNCERTAIN. See our Paul Newman watches guide for the dial's background.
Christie's: Schumacher's Journes, a Sultan's Nautilus and ELA
Christie's Rare Watches Including Watches for ELA takes place on Monday, November 9 at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues, starting at 10:00 CET according to The Watchology. Haute Time and The Watchology report 218 lots, including 39 independent-maker watches, seven of them unique. The free preview runs November 5 to 8, 10:00-18:00. We could not open Christie's own catalogue pages, so every Christie's figure on this page is REPORTED by those outlets, not confirmed by the house. The Watchology's own lot breakdown does not add up to 218, and its table lists all three Vagabondage watches as No. 36/68, which looks like an error.
The five F.P. Journe Ruthenium watches formerly owned by Michael Schumacher are all numbered 92/99 and sold as separate lots. The Octa Jour et Nuit, Octa Chronographe and Octa Calendrier are each estimated at CHF 300,000-600,000, while the Tourbillon Souverain and the Chronomètre à Résonance are each CHF 650,000-1.2 million. Our Michael Schumacher watches guide and F.P. Journe history give the context.
A yellow gold Patek Nautilus ref. 3700/1 from 1978 with a "Khanjar" dial, linked to Sultan Qaboos (The Watchology words the provenance two ways: a gift, and direct from his entourage), is estimated at CHF 500,000-1 million, the same as a 1948 yellow gold ref. 1518. A London-made 1990 Cartier Octagonal Allongée is CHF 400,000-600,000; see Cartier history. Haute Time also lists a Journe Tourbillon Souverain ref. T at CHF 650,000-1.4 million and three pink gold Vagabondage watches at CHF 400,000-800,000 each.
The ELA section has 21 charity lots benefiting ELA International, with named contributors including Alpina, Boucheron, Bovet, Montblanc and Tissot. It includes Zinedine Zidane's first personal watch, a steel Cartier Pasha with sapphire cabochon pushers that, per the ELA announcement reported by Europa Star in August, he bought with his first salary at Bordeaux almost 35 years ago. Europa Star says the Watches for ELA section is its second edition with around twenty pieces; The Watchology counts 21. No estimates are published, and all proceeds go to ELA. We have no site page on Zidane or the Pasha to link to yet. See also famous people's watches.
Sotheby's and Antiquorum: Lange, Daniels and a platinum Journe
Sotheby's Important Watches (sale GE2604) is a hybrid sale of 184 lots. Sotheby's own page (CONFIRMED) shows it running from October 20 to November 8 in Geneva with no estimates displayed, while The Watchology gives a live session at 10:00 CET on November 8 at the Mandarin Oriental, with viewing November 5-7. Haute Time and The Hour Markers say November 8-9, so confirm the session date before travelling. (The Watchology calls November 8 a Saturday; it is a Sunday.) A separate online Fine Watches sale closes November 10.
Estimates reported for Sotheby's (REPORTED by The Watchology and Haute Time; the house page shows none) are a c.1914 pink gold A. Lange & Söhne grand complication pocket watch (lot 96; Haute Time calls it unique) at CHF 500,000-1 million, a 2001 yellow gold George Daniels Millennium (lot 80) at CHF 300,000-600,000, and a c.1996 steel Lange 1 ref. 101.026 at CHF 150,000-300,000. As of the Watchology's October 26 article, lots including a Patek "Sea Turtle" ref. 2407, a new-old-stock Daytona "Big Red" ref. 6263 and a platinum Journe Octa Divine were listed with estimates still to come. We found no Sotheby's lot matching a platinum Octa Chronographe "Ruthenium" at CHF 400,000-800,000 in this sale; the Ruthenium Octa Chronographe we can place is the Schumacher watch at Christie's. See Lange 1 history.
Antiquorum's own page (CONFIRMED) lists Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces on November 7-8, with viewing November 4-8 at its Rue du Mont-Blanc 3 office; The Watchology gives 603 lots, a count the page does not state. Its top listed estimate is lot 475, a platinum Journe Q Octa Calendrier with a yellow dial at CHF 400,000-800,000, ahead of the Moulinié Bautte "The Pistol" gold and enamel snuff box (lot 426) at CHF 220,000-420,000 and a 1977 yellow gold Rolex GMT-Master ref. 1675-8 (lot 260) at CHF 200,000-400,000. Other outlets give different Antiquorum venues, lot counts and a November 8-9 date, so confirm before attending.
What is confirmed and what is not
We label each claim by how we know it. CONFIRMED means we read it on the auction house's own page. REPORTED means a trade outlet states it and we could not check the house. COMMUNITY means collector or forum talk, and UNCERTAIN means sources conflict or only one outlet says it. Estimates are estimates: they are not forecasts, and we make none.

How estimates and buyer's premium work
Estimates are a guide, not a forecast. Phillips' Geneva buyer's guide says a bid inside the estimate range should offer a chance of success, but many lots finish above or below it, and that estimates do not include buyer's premium or VAT. Haute Time repeats that all estimates exclude premium.
Phillips' Geneva watch guide, effective April 12, 2026, sets premium at 27% of the hammer price up to CHF 1.6 million, 21% of the portion up to CHF 7 million and 14.5% above, plus 8.1% Swiss VAT on hammer and premium, refundable on export with stamped customs paperwork. As arithmetic, a CHF 1,000,000 hammer would cost CHF 1,372,870 including VAT, or CHF 1,270,000 once VAT is refunded. The November catalogue guide may differ, and we could not retrieve Christie's or Sotheby's Geneva schedules (Christie's pages are not readable by our tools). Phillips also warns that non-U.S.-origin watches may attract special U.S. import tariffs paid by the buyer.
USD figures here use CHF 1 = US$1.207 (ECB reference rates, October 29, 2026) and are rounded. Haute Time's October 19 dollar conversions for Christie's imply a stronger dollar rate, and The Watchology's own conversions also differ, so figures vary by source and date. Convert at the rate on the day you bid.

Background
Geneva has been the centre of the watch auction calendar for decades, and the May 2026 week set the bar. Phillips' own release says its Geneva XXIII sale on May 9-10 totalled CHF 74,846,995 (US$96,328,083 at its stated rate of 1.2807), with 224 of 225 lots sold and 43 world records. It included the Agassiz "Victory Watch" gifted to Charles de Gaulle at CHF 1,460,500. Our October 2026 auction results and Phillips New York XIV report cover the run-up, and our GPHG 2026 guide covers the other event of Geneva watch week. We have no sourced sale-total expectations for November. Brand context: Patek Philippe, Rolex and A.
