Billions Watches: What Axe, Taylor and the Cast Wear

Billions is a show about money, so its watches are read as signals: Bobby “Axe” Axelrod in Audemars Piguet, Taylor Mason's first big Patek Philippe purchase, a judge in a loud complication. This guide goes character by character, but it is honest about a limit: no costume designer, prop master, brand or network has named any watch, so every identification below comes from watch blogs, spotting communities and databases.

The short answer

All watches here are labelled Reported , since nothing is production-confirmed. The best documented is Taylor Mason’s Patek Philippe 5270R , bought in a Wempe scene in season 3, episode 4. For Axe, outlets report a Cartier Roadster in season 1, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Camo in season 4 and a Royal Oak Chronograph that anchors season 5, then a Bremont in season 7. Two sources doubt the Royal Oak is a genuine watch, so its reference is disputed.

Who wears what: quick reference

Character (actor) Watches
Bobby “Axe” Axelrod(Damian Lewis) Cartier Roadster Chronograph; Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, blue “Camo” (44mm); Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph, blue dial; Bremont Jaguar MKII Chronograph, white “panda” dial, blue strap
Taylor Mason(Asia Kate Dillon) Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph (rose gold)
Judge Adam DeGiulio(Bob Morrow) Franck Muller Casablanca Perpetual Calendar (platinum)
“Dollar” Bill Stearn(Kelly AuCoin) TAG Heuer Aquaracer Chronograph, blue dial, steel
Chuck Rhoades(Paul Giamatti) No documented watch
Wendy, Wags, Connerty, Mike Prince, Lara, Chuck Sr., Foley and Mafee(the rest of the cast) No documented watch

How we label the evidence

Confirmed means a costume designer, prop department, the brand or the show itself said so, or multiple reputable outlets agree and cite a source. Reported means a single reputable outlet reports it. We leave out fan speculation, and where sources disagree we say so. All prices are in US dollars and are indicative; check current listings before buying.

Axe's watches are read as a rise: an accessible Cartier in season 1, loud Audemars Piguets as he gets richer, and a clean break to a Bremont in the final season, which one outlet reads as either a reset or paid placement.

Watch Reference Evidence Where you see it Price (US)
Cartier Roadster Chronograph W6206019 per most sources; one gives W62019X6 Reported Season 1. Boss Hunting argues it did not fit his wealth; both references are discontinued $7,800 original; ~$4,400–$4,800 pre-owned (Loupe)
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, blue “Camo” (44mm) 26400SO.OO.A335CA.01 per most; one source says 26470ST Reported Season 4, episode 1, per a crowd-sourced Spotern match and several blogs ~$31,000–$32,200 at launch; no current market price found
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph, blue dial 25860ST (39mm) most cited; 15400ST and 26320ST also named Reported Said to be the only watch on his wrist in season 5, and worn in earlier seasons. IMWDB and Boss Hunting question whether it is a genuine Royal Oak ~$24,000 original; ~$32,500–$64,800 pre-owned (Loupe range)
Bremont Jaguar MKII Chronograph, white “panda” dial, blue strap Not confirmed (white MKII is 18262) Reported Season 7, episode 2. A single outlet identified it from screenshots and guesses paid placement, which is unconfirmed GBP 5,595 (white, retired); ~$3,400–$6,800 retailer figures

Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon)

Patek Philippe reference 5270 perpetual calendar chronograph
A Patek Philippe ref. 5270 perpetual calendar chronograph, the watch Taylor Mason buys in season 3. Photo: EMore98 (CC BY-SA 4.0), via Wikimedia Commons.

Taylor's watch is the plot's clearest watch moment. After shorting a space company and feeling guilty, Taylor walks into Wempe on Fifth Avenue and buys a Patek, a self-reward that Axe notices.

Watch Reference Evidence Where you see it Price (US)
Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph (rose gold) 5270R Reported Season 3, episode 4, “Hell of a Ride” (2018). The purchase is named in the plot, but no Patek or Wempe statement is cited. One article mistypes it “5720R” $164,400 at the time; ~$100,600–$161,200 pre-owned (Loupe, 2026)

In season 6, episode 4, the show overlays prices on characters' clothes. One review reportedly mentions a $180,000 Patek on Taylor, but the model is unknown, so we do not list it.

Judge Adam DeGiulio (Bob Morrow)

A showy complication for a judge: loud taste in a courtroom.

Watch Reference Evidence Where you see it Price (US)
Franck Muller Casablanca Perpetual Calendar (platinum) 5850 per one source Reported One episode, unspecified. Two retailer posts only, with no screenshot citations A 1998 platinum example sold for EUR 24,050 at auction

“Dollar” Bill Stearn (Kelly AuCoin)

TAG Heuer Aquaracer automatic chronograph
A TAG Heuer Aquaracer chronograph, the model reported on Dollar Bill Stearn (a different reference is shown). Photo: Juho Eskelä (CC BY-SA 3.0), via Wikimedia Commons.

A solid, mid-priced tool watch for Axe's loyal lieutenant, a step below the boss's Audemars Piguet.

Watch Reference Evidence Where you see it Price (US)
TAG Heuer Aquaracer Chronograph, blue dial, steel CAY211B per one source Reported Season and episode not stated. Two retailer posts, one from an Instagram caption $3,750 retail on a sold example; ~$1,600–$1,825 pre-owned (Loupe)

Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti)

One retailer post says Chuck wears a gold-tone Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic on a brown strap, and a second repeats the claim with a reference. We could not find a season, episode, screenshot or independent source, so we do not list it as a watch he wears.

Wendy, Wags, Connerty, Mike Prince, Lara, Chuck Sr., Foley and Mafee (the rest of the cast)

We searched blog, forum and database sources and found no identified watch for any of them. Billions' own fan wiki, which we checked, does not document real watch models either.

How solid is the evidence?

Honestly, thinner than the show's reputation suggests. We found no statement from costume designer Eric Daman (his interviews cover clothing), a prop master, Showtime or any watch brand. The identifications trace to retailer blogs such as Professional Watches and Swiss Watch Expo, a crowd-sourced spotting site, the movie-watch database IMWDB and a few forum posts, and several of these repeat each other, so their agreement is weaker evidence than it looks. We list Taylor's Patek as the strongest because the plot names the purchase.

Two cautions matter for readers who want to buy. IMWDB and Boss Hunting both suggest Axe's Royal Oak may be a prop that does not match a real reference, so treat any Royal Oak reference number as unsettled. And some “watches of Billions” lists, such as Deployant's, include suggestions of watches Axe could wear rather than watches he wore. For a show where the watches are documented far better, see our guide to Succession.

Real-world watches that echo the ones above, with indicative US prices. These are editorial suggestions, not from the show.

Watch Why it fits Price (US)
TAG Heuer Aquaracer (pre-owned) Dollar Bill's reported tool watch ~$1,600–$1,825
Cartier Roadster Chronograph (pre-owned) Axe's reported season 1 watch ~$4,400–$4,800
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph (pre-owned) Axe's reported everyday watch ~$32,500–$64,800

Myths and mix-ups, corrected

  • “Billions' watches are confirmed by the costume department.” We found no costume designer, prop master, network or brand statement naming any watch.
  • “Axe's Royal Oak is a standard 15400ST.” Sources name 25860ST, 15400ST and 26320ST, and two question whether it is a real Royal Oak at all.
  • “The watches on Deployant's Billions list were all worn on screen.” That list is made up of suggestions for Axe, not watches he wore.
  • “IMWDB lists an Apple Watch on Billions.” The entry is for the film Ghosted, not Billions, so we treat it as a mis-listing.
