Severance Watches: The Bijouone and Vostok Mark Scout Wears
Severance Watches: The Bijouone and Vostok Mark Scout Wears
Severance is not a show about luxury watches, which is exactly why its watches are interesting. Inside Lumon, workers wear a plain white-dial watch with no text. Outside, Mark Scout wears a cheap Soviet military watch. This guide covers both, labels each by how well it is documented, and corrects the common claim that Lumon has no watches at all.
The short answer
Two watches are identified in Hodinkee's reporting: the Bijouone B001 , a text-free white-dial watch worn by innies, and Mark's outie Vostok Komandirskie . The prop master is quoted on the Bijouone. We found no luxury watches, no plot watches and no official Lumon or Apple watch collaboration.
Who wears what: quick reference
| Character (actor) | Watches |
|---|---|
| Mark Scout / Mark S.(Adam Scott) | Bijouone B001 (white dial, no text or logo); Vostok Komandirskie (green dial, red star) |
| Helly R.(Britt Lower) | Bijouone B001 (gold bezel, navy strap, per a fan wiki) |
| Seth Milchick(Tramell Tillman) | Bijouone (per Hodinkee photos) |
| Irving, Dylan, Cobel, Burt, Gemma, Devon, Ricken and Miss Huang(Various) | No documented watch |
How we label the evidence
Confirmed means a costume designer, prop department, the brand or the show itself said so, or multiple reputable outlets agree and cite a source. Reported means a single reputable outlet or database reports it. We leave out other fan speculation, and where sources disagree we say so. All prices are in US dollars and are indicative; check current listings before buying.
Mark Scout / Mark S. (Adam Scott)
Mark has two watches, and the swap between them is a recurring ritual. As an innie he wears a plain, text-free watch inside Lumon. As an outie he wears a rugged Soviet diver-style watch that he stores in a locker before ascending.
| Watch | Reference | Evidence | Where you see it | Price (US) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bijouone B001 (white dial, no text or logo) | B001 | Reported | Worn by Mark S. as an innie from season 1. Hodinkee quotes prop master Katherine Miller, who could not find a minimalist white-dial watch and found the Bijouone, which needed no modification | ~$75–$80 on Pinkoi (a quartz watch, per the seller) |
| Vostok Komandirskie (green dial, red star) | 341307 per Hodinkee and Oracle of Time; 2416/921307 in one caption; disputed | Reported | Mark's outie watch, stored in his locker. Hodinkee says it came from the prop master's personal kit. One retailer calls it an Amphibia, which is a different line | ~€90–€130 for Komandirskie references at Vostok-Watches24; a retailer sells a “Mark Scout” green-dial listing at $500 |
A fan theory says the Vostok was a gift from Gemma. It appears only on low-quality sites and is unverified.
Helly R. (Britt Lower)
Helly is shown wearing the same text-free innie watch.
| Watch | Reference | Evidence | Where you see it | Price (US) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bijouone B001 (gold bezel, navy strap, per a fan wiki) | B001 | Reported | Hodinkee shows Helly R. wearing a Bijouone. The gold-bezel and strap details come from a search snippet of a fan wiki we could not read directly | ~$75–$80 |
Seth Milchick (Tramell Tillman)
Milchick appears in Hodinkee's photos in the same Bijouone. It is unclear whether this is an innie watch or generic Lumon issue.
| Watch | Reference | Evidence | Where you see it | Price (US) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bijouone (per Hodinkee photos) | B001 assumed | Reported | Read from a summary of Hodinkee's article; the side of the wrist is not specified | ~$75–$80 |
Irving, Dylan, Cobel, Burt, Gemma, Devon, Ricken and Miss Huang (Various)
We found no source identifying a watch for any other character.
Why a $75 watch fits the show
Costume designer Sarah Edwards built the Lumon wardrobe from a 1960s IBM dress code, aiming for timeless, spare and minimal looks, per the Motion Picture Association. Wristwatches are not absent inside Lumon, despite the common claim. The Bijouone fits the same logic: nothing on the dial that could carry a message.
Hodinkee's editors listed fantasy picks for the show, including a Tudor Pelagos LHD, an H. Moser Endeavor Small Seconds, a gold Rolex Submariner ref. 1680 and an anOrdain Model 1. These were the writers' opinions, not watches worn on screen. For a show where status watches are the point, see Succession.

| Watch | Why it fits | Price (US) |
|---|---|---|
| Vostok Komandirskie | Mark's outie watch, a classic Soviet military design | ~€90–€130 |
| Bijouone B001 | The innie watch | ~$75–$80 |
Myths and mix-ups, corrected
- “There are no watches inside Lumon.” Innies wear a text-free watch. Outies swap theirs into a locker.
- “Mark's Vostok is an Amphibia.” Hodinkee, Oracle of Time and fan wikis name a Komandirskie. Amphibia is a retailer claim.
- “The Vostok is Gemma's gift.” Unsupported. It appears only on low-quality sites.
- “The Hodinkee list is what the cast wears.” Those were the editors' fantasy picks, not on-screen watches.
- “The Bijouone is Japanese.” Hodinkee says so, but the only listings we found are on a Taiwanese marketplace from a China-based seller.
